Meet Your Brain
→The Brain a.k.a the Boss
· A three-pound mass of wrinkly material in your head that controls every single thing you will ever do.
· The brain is your body’s control centre- from enabling you to think, learn, create, and feel emotions to controlling every blink, breath, and heartbeat.
→ Parts of the Brain
The brain has three main parts:
1. The cerebellum
2. The cerebrum which has two parts, the left and right cerebral hemispheres,
3. The brain stem, that controls a lot of the 'automatic' actions of your body such as breathing and heart beat, and links the brain to the spinal cord and the rest of the body.

→ Left vs Right Sides of the Brain
The brain can be divided into two hemispheres the right and the left. Although each hemisphere is almost identical in terms of structure, each hemisphere operates in an entirely different way and are associated with very different activities. This is known as lateralization. People tend to prefer one side of the brain over the other when learning new things. To discover which side of your brain is more dominant click here.
